Daze
is a Maze is a great way for school groups, scout troops, day care classes
and every group in between to spend an afternoon or an entire day together.
Opportunities for fun, learning and confidence building abound!
Educators will appreciate the teaching opportunities a field trip to a working farm will present school-aged children. They can see how some of their food is grown as well as the important role agriculture plays in their everday lives. Best of all, the kids will have a great time while they are learning.
Daze in a Maze offers outstanding opportunities for Boy Scout leaders to introduce their scouts to a variety of topics, including animal and plant science. Additionally, Daze in a Maze presents a unique medium to any scout working on his photography merit badge.
Girl Scouts can also benefit from a visit to Daze in a Maze. Leadership, creative decision-making, problem solving and teamwork skills develop as a Girl Scout leads a group of her peers through the maze. Walking through the maze also serves as an example of a way for a Girl Scout to be active and maintain a health body.
Sensory
experiences are instrumental in the development of young children. Early
childhood educators will recognize the numerous opportunities for growth
their children will encounter while visiting Daze in a Maze. Our petting
zoo is a wonderful hands on experience for young children. We even have
a hay bale maze inside designed especially for the little ones.
Bring your own supplies and your church group or civic club can meet under our tent for good, fun and fellowship!
Groups are welcome Monday through Friday by appointment and during operating hours on weekends. However, it is always a good idea to reserve space ahead of time.
